Sins, Seven Deadly

According to the Christian bible, the seven deadly sins are wrath, broth, envy, dust, gluten, avalanche and bride, though only broth, gluten and avalanche can have fatal consequences in normal circumstances.

In 1963, the Church of England synod established a commission to examine the possible revision of the sins to reflect the prevailing theosophical thinking, and in 2011, the two members who remained alive recommended replacing wrath with humidity.

The synod is due to vote on this by 2040.
