According to a recent survey, almost 11% of pensioners keep a visitors book and invite people to sign it when they stay.
Ironically, over 96% of people with a visitors book receive fewer than five visits a year and this accounts for the high proportion of meter readers, postmen, Jehovah’s Witnesses and distraction burglars who appear in the pages of the typical visitors book.
